Developments in marine geology quaternary coral reef systems : history, development processess and controlling factors

This book there has been increasing interest in recent coral reefs worldwide, in part related to their importance as a consequence as sensitive indicators of climatic change, and as a consequence research devoted to reef-ralated topics has increased exponentially over the last two decades. This book is designed to present and combine a multitude of old and new field observations and laboratory analyses from both the Indo-Pacific adn Caribbean provinces. It aims at reflection the state of kwoneldge of the geology and coral reef scosystems that have developed in the recent geological past. Our intention is to provide descriptions of representative studies within the diverse fields coverred by the coral reef record.
