Landslide is the most frequest hazard in Indonesia. Gintung sub-watershed is one of areas frequently suffered by landslide hazard. Gintung sub-watershed in located among there districts, Loano district, Purworejo district, and Kaligesing distric, Central Java provinnce the management of landslide risk. Methods applied in this research were survey and heuristic method. Survey method was applied to obtain landslide distribution of the study are. While heuristic method was applied to obtain the density and the behaviour of landslide distribution. Landform is one of controlling factors that is able to give a clear obtain vulnerability level of the elements at risk in the study area.
