Muara Gembong is one of district located in north coast of West Java and affected by the phenomena of coastal erosion. This phenomena is quite serious because it causes decreased land is in district. To find out how vulnerable the villages in these districts to coastal erosion, it is necessary to mapping coastal vulnerability index by coastal erosion in the area.
