Basic microcomputer programs for urban analysis and planning
This book presents nine computer programs written in the BASIC language implementing the major models taught and used in urban and regional planning. The programs are designed for use or most microcomputers (and other computers with BASIC) by planners with a very limited knowledge of computers and programming. The users of these program need only enter therm into the computer and then respondto questions asking for the data and computational options. This is all that would be requiredto apply some of these rather sophisticated models to urban and regional planning problems. The programs are simple and straightforward, making them especially suitable for planners in smaller a agencies and for students learning the methods.
