Environmental education for biodiversity and sustainable development
Environmental education is one of the most effective means to communicate to all sectors of society, that the earth upon which we live is a finite resource and needs individuals, it is up to each and every individual to play their part in husbanding finite resources. It is only through education that an understanding of the importance of good environmental house-keeping can be engendered and the consequences of all our everyday actions upon the earth communicated. Environmental education incorporates the ethical basis of actions and judgements that lead to a balanced understanding of natural and non-natural (i.s. human incluced) processes to the benefit of society as a whole.
