Analysis and adjusment of survey measurements will be valuable to both the practitioner and the student. Its approach to the subject is up to date, systematic, rigorous, and emphatically practical. Unlike other books at the same level, it dosent use out moded procedures or notation. Instead, it gradualy and methodically introduces and incorporates matrix algebra which is becoming the standard tool for the surveyor making it easy to program solutions on the computer. The book also introduces basic probability and statistics in a way that enables the reader to use them in conjuction with adjusment. In addition it review one relatively new techniques accorded scant treatment in other books the pre analysis of survey measurements.
