Mapping for congress: supporting public policy with GIS library of congress congressional cartography program
GIS technolgy is providing access to ur country's cultural and physical geographic knoedge. This is helping lcal, state, and federal egencies make better decisions and more effectively cordinate their efforts. Finally, GIS is helping goverment at all levels connect with their citizens in a visual and analytical framework that is easy to understand. The maps in the first part of this book highlight sme of the outstanding wrk frm the Library of ngress Gegraphy and Map Divisin's Cngressional Cartography Prgram.
