The Indonesia reap doppler satellite network (Dok.24/1982)
During a 24 month time interval a 238 station first-order network was established in a major portion of Indonesia using Doppler satellite techniques. The network, centred at 2 derajat latitude and 118 derajat longitude, spanned an area 1740km North/South and 2100km East/West with mean station spacing of 100km. The geographic location of the network, varying terrain and climatic condition and particular geodetic requirements created some unique logistical and technical consideration.
